Three years, and somehow it still feels strange to put that into words.
Maybe three years isn’t really about a number on a calendar. Maybe it’s just about how something unfamiliar slowly settles into your everyday life, until you can’t quite remember when it started belonging there.
At first, you were just a sound passing by. A song on the way home, a video watched too late at night, a quick laugh through a small screen. None of it felt like something that would stay. But the days kept moving, and somehow, I kept finding you—in the quiet rides home, in the middle of days that felt too loud, and on nights when my head was too full.
Six familiar faces on a screen slowly stopped feeling so far away. Somewhere along the way, you became a gentle light in places you never even knew were dark.
Maybe you never realized how many quiet nights you helped make a little softer, or how many hearts felt less heavy just because you were there.

I think about butterflies a lot when I think of you. A butterfly never really knows which flowers it helps bloom just by passing by, or how something as small as the flutter of its wings can leave a trace behind. That is the beauty of your kindness—you gave something to the world without ever knowing exactly where it would land.
So as you keep moving forward, I hope you never feel like you have to rush through the journey.
There will be days when you feel like you’re still inside a cocoon, changing quietly where no one can see. There will be days when your wings feel too tired to carry you, and that’s completely okay. You were never meant to become everything all at once. Some things just need time, and some things need a little darkness before they can find their light.
When the road gets long, I hope you let yourselves rest. When you lose your way, I hope you find another patch of sunlight waiting for you. And when you look back at how far you’ve come, I hope you realize that you were never just passing through. You’ve been leaving little pieces of warmth everywhere you’ve gone.
Happy three years of kindness.
Thank you for all the kindness you’ve grown and put out into the world. May it keep finding its way into other hearts, blooming long after it leaves your hands. And wherever life takes you next, I hope you always remember how many little flowers you’ve helped bloom along the way. 🧡
